The SDT-B Vulture pump action Shotgun is the main weapon for both Global Defense Initiative and the Brotherhood of Nod's Shotgunners.
Appearance
The Shotgun has double barrels with a long reloader on the front. Rounds are inserted manually under the gun.
Function
The Shotgun fires a burst of twelve bullets at once. One of the most powerful weapons in the game if wielded skillfully; also the most powerful weapon for basic class infantry, since it can compete and severely damage advanced infantry. Its main drawbacks are the low range and the low rate of fire, requiring the wielder to go in close proximity to maximize the Shotgun's potential. It does basically no damage to vehicles or buildings. Even on the Master Control Terminal, its damage is rather low.
Since the Shotgun is manually reloaded, reload times will be faster if the wielder has not used all the rounds in the clip.
