Patch 5.470 for Renegade X was released on January 15, 2021.
Changes
Engine changes
- Improved the generic performance on the 64-bit executable which will give players a massive boost in fps!
- Disabled VSync by default (Can still be enabled in the settings menu).
Bug fixes
- Fixed weapons still firing when a player enters a vehicle while the weapon is reloading and the firing button is still being pressed.
- Fixed Nod M2 Bradley and Recon Bike having a blue camo in the Purchase menu in Nod vs. Nod.
Additions
- Added a new way of shuffling teams instead of just moving a few players around.
Visuals/audio
- Added damage levels to the Helipad.
- Added damage levels to the Tiberium Silo (Black Hand).
- Silenced SMG now uses the correct death icon instead of the unsilenced variant.
- Vehicle button limit extended to 11.
- Dots on the crosshair will remain visible when locked on to improve fire accuracy.
Maps
- Adjusted some of the player limits on certain maps to have them available at higher player counts.
- Updated all info in the map configuration files for the Skirmish menu and Launcher.
- Arctic Stronghold
- The Tiberium field is now more accessable for vehicles
- Blocked off the Artillery from shooting the Weapons Factory from the Nod Base Entrance
- Blocked off the Artillery from shooting the Adv. Guard Tower from the Nod side of the Tiberium Field
- Blocked off the MRLS from shooting the Obelisk of Light from the GDI side of the Tiberium Field
- Fixed a stuck spot near the GDI side of the infantry cave
- Fixed some rocks and terrain sticking through building interiors
- Fixed some floating objects
- Fixed infantry being able to walk on the side of the bridges and shoot over the barriers on the side
- Cliff Side
- Blocked off the MRLS from curving missiles behind the big rock in the Tiberium field
- Adjusted Mystery Crate positions
- Fixed some minor culling issues
- Adjusted some slightlines to avoid Base-2-Base Sniping and shooting tanks in the Tiberium field from unfair positions
- Eyes
- Fixed being able to shoot the Obelisk of Light from the GDI bridge with Rocket Soldiers / Gunners
- Fixed a bad rock collision near the GDI bridge
- Field
- Reverted back to the standard variant
- Barracks vehicle blocking volume adjusted
- Forest
- Reverted back to the standard variant
- Fixed a stuck spot in the GDI Infantry Tunnel
- Some adjustments to the Tiberium fields
- Attacking both the GDI and Nod base from the back is now harder
- Fixed an out-of-map issue in the GDI Base
- Updated the minimap
- Improved the performance of the map
- Hourglass
- Temporarily removed from the map rotation due to a bug in the Uplink tech building that breaks the Obelisk of Light / Adv. Guard Tower
- Reduced the health of the Uplink
- Removed the Anti-Air Towers in the back of the GDI Base
- Increased the Vehicle Limit from 10 to 12
- Islands
- Increased the damage of the Tiberium to reduce the occurrence of undisarmable beacons in the Tiberium fields
- Cleaned up some floating pieces of Tiberium crystals in the air
- Islands X

- Added the Helipad after gaining popularity in the winter version
- Added a small rock near both Helipads as an option to sneak into the building

- Increased the Vehicle Limit from 11 to 15
- Reservoir
- Reverted back to the standard variant
- Disabled collisions from the hanging ivy plants

- Reverted back to the standard variant

- Added a Helipad for the Black Hand.
