Laser Chaingunner is a slow, anti-everything unit of the Brotherhood of Nod, with the capability of dealing with both vehicles and infantry at close range.

Appearance

The Laser Chaingunner wears a full suit of armor, colored in the style of the Brotherhood of Nod.

Function

The Laser Chaingunner is equipped with a laser chaingun as his weapon. The gun has an infinite amount of ammunition, and is deadly in close range combat with both infantry and vehicles. It is good at fighting light- and heavy-armored vehicles.

Strategy

Usage

The Laser Chaingunner is a slow unit. It is an excellent unit at defense and fighting swarms of close range infantry and vehicles.

When fighting vehicles, the best option is to remain at moderate range, without letting the vehicles swarm you.

The Laser Chaingunner deals a small amount of damage to buildings, but a moderate amount to the MCT.

Counters

The Laser Chaingunner is feared by the GDI units. Although it is slow, its armor and sheer damage dealt more than compensates for any damage it takes from its enemies. The best infantry counter to him is any infantry that is long-ranged, and deals significant damage to heavily armored units. An exception to this is McFarland, who is deadly at close range, and deals significant damage to heavy-armored infantry.

For vehicles, the best approach would be to either get close enough to run it over, or use a heavy-armored vehicle from long range, preferably the Medium Tank.
