The SDT-B Vulture pump action shotgun is the primary weapon used by both the GDI and the Nod's Shotgunners.

Appearance

The Shotgun has a single barrel with a long fore-end on the underside. Shells are inserted into the loading port under the gun.

Function

The Shotgun fires a shotshell of numerous small pellet-like projectiles in pump action. One of the most powerful weapons in the game if wielded skillfully; also the most powerful weapon for basic class infantry, since it can compete with and severely damage advanced infantry. Its main drawbacks are the low range and the low rate of fire, requiring the wielder to go in close proximity to maximize the Shotgun's potential. It does basically no damage to vehicles or buildings. Even on the Master Control Terminal, its damage is rather low.

Since the Shotgun is manually reloaded, reload times will be faster if the wielder has not used all the rounds in the clip.
