A sophisticated guide that explains in detail the gameplay of Renegade X, from individual assessment of infantry and vehicles to lessons of psychological warfare. While some sections of the guide are outdated due to being written upon the Beta 4 Version of the game, other sections can be still or universally applied for every version of Renegade X.

- air/strip= Airstrip
- AOW = All Out War
- APC = Armored Personnel Carrier
- arty = Mobile Artillery
- as = Airstrike
- at mines = Anti Tank Mines
- b2b = Base to Base, shooting from your base to the enemy base
- bar/barr = Barracks
- bike = Recon Bike
- bldg = Buildings
- c4 = Timed C4/Remote C4
- chem = Chemical Trooper
- chin/trans/tranny = Chinook
- comm = Communications Center
- crate = Mystery Crate
- C&C = Command & Conquer
- DM = Deathmatch
- doza = Mendoza
- EMP = ElectroMagnetic Pulse Grenade/ EMP Cannon
- engi/engie = Engineer
- flame/flamer= Flame Trooper (especially if used at the start of the match to announce an incoming rush)/ Flame Tank

- inc = incoming. Used as a suffix to announce a rush composed by the prefix.

- path = refers to a route of the map. Is it used as a suffix to inf, veh, and tib to indicate the specific route.

- rep/reps = Repair (usually used to ask for repairs/heals)
- rocket = Rocket Soldier

- sam = Surface-to-Air Missile Site
- SBH = Stealth Black Hand
- silo = Tiberium Silo
- smoke = Smoke Grenade
- syd/PIC Sydney
- stank = Stealth Tank
- tech = Technician
- tib = Tiberium (usually referring to the field on the map)
